Bernice E. Hall, 74, longtime Baltimore teacher

Bernice E. Hall, who taught in Baltimore elementary schools for nearly 30 years, died Tuesday of cancer at her home in Biglerville, Pa., where she had lived since 1976. She was 74.

Services for the Baltimore native, who graduated from Coppin State Teachers College in 1943, were to be held at 11 a.m. today in Gettysburg, Pa.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Nathaniel S. Hall; two daughters, Natalie H. Lee of Columbia and Cicely E. Hall of Baltimore; a son, Michael J. Hall of Columbia; a sister, Louise P. Edwards, and a brother, Talmadge H. Pinkney, both of Baltimore; and four grandchildren.
