Towson State falls to Delaware, 81-73

NEWARK, Del. -- Junior forward Greg Smith scored a career-high 27 points and added 11 rebounds to lead Delaware past Towson State, 81-73, in the North Atlantic Conference last night.

The Blue Hens (14-11, 10-7) used a 12-2 run early in the second half to break a 35-35 tie.

Towson State (15-10, 11-6) got 12 points each from Ralph Blalock and Michael Keyes.
