Outlook: Morgan State hasn't played since Thursday, when South Carolina State posted a 92-78 win despite 18 points from leading scorer Paul Grant (12.2 ppg). The previous night, the Bears knocked off North Carolina A&T in a makeup game, 77-74. The Bears are 5-9 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference; A&T is 7-6. Grant also leads his team in assists (2.8) and field-goal percentage (48.0) and tops the MEAC in steals (2.36). The Aggies ended a three-game losing streak with Monday's 70-68 win over Howard. Junior Kimani Stewart averages about 12.0 ppg and 5.0 rpg, and shoots better than 50 percent from the field.

Towson State (15-9) at Delaware (13-11)

Outlook: After winning at Hofstra on Sunday, 74-56, Towson State closes out its first North Atlantic Conference regular season with a home-and-home series against Delaware. The teams play again Saturday. Reserve F Ryan Lexer had 18 points in Sunday's victory. Senior G Scooter Alexander returned after sitting out Friday's loss to Drexel and contributed 13 points. Towson State is 11-5 and in a three-way tie for second place in the NAC. Delaware (9-7 in NAC) leads the series, 14-13. A three-pointer by Ralph Blalock (17.2 ppg) with four seconds left gave Towson State an 84-83 victory over the Blue Hens last season. The Tigers have clinched their seventh winning season in the past eight years. Three of Delaware's losses have come against traditional powers Indiana (85-68), Duke (79-73) and Villanova (71-58). Junior F Peca Arsic of Yugoslavia leads the Blue Hens at 17.2 ppg. Junior F Greg Smith averages 16.6 points and 8.1 rebounds, and senior C Patrick Evans contributes 13.8 ppg and 9.4 rpg.
