Arthur F. Kronen, 78, advertising print manager

Arthur F. Kronen, an advertising print manager, died Feb. 9 of cancer at Stella Maris Hospice. He was 78 and lived in Towson.

He was a production manager and traffic manager for print media at W. B. Doner & Co. for two years and VanSant Dugdale & Co. Inc. for 24 years. He was responsible for placing ads in all forms of print media. He retired in 1982 and occasionally would lecture on advertising production at the Johns Hopkins University.

He enjoyed repairing cars, gardening, boating, fishing and the Chesapeake Bay.

Memorial services were held yesterday.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, the former Irene Heiss; a son, Richard Kronen of Towson; a daughter, Linda Kronen of Columbia; and four grandchildren.
