Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Western District

Robbery: A resident of the 1000 block of W. Baltimore St. was near his home Sunday when a gunman robbed him of a cellular telephone valued at more than $100.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 900 block of N. Monroe St. through a rear window yesterday and stole a television remote control device valued at $20.

Purse snatch: A 55-year-old woman was in the 1800 block of Harlem Ave. yesterday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $50.

Northeastern District

Burglary: A microwave oven, videocassette recorder and compact disc player, all valued at nearly $1,000, were stolen Sunday from a house in the 2700 block of Tivoly Ave.

Robbery try: A resident of the 4400 block of Harford Road was walking near his home Sunday when two men demanded his money. When the man said he had none, the pair fled.

Stolen car: A 1991 Plymouth Voyager with tags ABE 86Y was stolen Sunday in the 1500 block of Fernley Road.

Robbery: Two men robbed a resident of the 4300 block of Belair Road of more than $100 Sunday near the victim's home.

Stolen car: A gray 1995 Dodge with a partial tag 2005 was stolen Sunday in the 1500 block of Gorsuch Ave.

Robbery: A man was in the 1700 block of Jack Fisher Court on Sunday when he was assaulted by three men who took his beer and wine.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 4500 block of Clareway on Sunday and stole a TV cable box and a computer game, all valued at nearly $140.

Stolen car: A 1990 Honda Accord with tags YPH 101 was stolen Sunday in the 3800 block of Delverne Road.

Burglary: A .380-caliber semiautomatic handgun of unknown value was stolen Sunday from a house in the 1500 block of Carswell St.

Stolen car: A 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass with tags YCV 965 was stolen Sunday in the 6000 block of Walther Ave.

Stolen car: A 1995 Buick Skylark with tags BYZ 996 was stolen Sunday in the 1500 block of Havenwood Road.

Northwestern District

Stolen car: A gray 1992 Ford Escort with tags ZWB 700 was stolen Sunday in the 3700 block of Chatham Road.

Burglary: Someone burglarized Capitol Painting and Decorating Inc. in the 2500 block of Liberty Heights Ave. between Saturday night and Sunday morning and stole a fax machine valued at $400.

Stolen car: A gold-colored 1989 Acura with tags 300 AWG was stolen Sunday in the 4000 block of Glen Ave.

Stolen car: A black 1989 Jeep Cherokee with dealer tags 1A52748 was stolen Sunday in the 3200 block of Sequoia Ave.

Essex Precinct

Robbery: Two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed the Wendy's restaurant in the 100 block of Beacon Road on Sunday. During the robbery, several employees were forced into a walk-in freezer.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 7400 block of Park Ave. through a rear kitchen door Sunday and stole a TV and VCR, all valued at $600.

School burglary: Police were seeking a group of youths who entered Villa Cresta Elementary School in the 2600 block of Rader Ave. on Sunday after breaking a window. Inside, the youths ransacked at least one room but nothing appeared to be missing.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: An undisclosed sum of money was stolen from the bedroom of a townhouse in the first block of Tenby Court on Sunday.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: Two teen-age boys were leaving the Sony Theater in the 9600 block of Reisterstown Road in Reisterstown on Sunday night when three men, one armed with a knife, robbed them of cash and property, all of unknown value. The robbers drove off in a car.

Robbery: A gunman robbed the Wawa store in the 5100 block of Old Court Road of less than $100 Saturday. During the robbery, the gunman pointed the weapon at the head of a store security officer and threatened to shoot him.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: Money was stolen Sunday from the cash register in the Coffee Junction in the 800 block of Frederick Road.

Burglary: Firearms and hunting and camping equipment, all valued at more than $9,000, were stolen between Friday and Sunday from a house in the 3000 block of Virginia Ave. Taken were seven large-caliber modern and Civil War-era rifles, scopes, four bows, several arrows, a tree stand, stereo equipment and a VCR.

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: Two men, one with a semiautomatic handgun, robbed the Subway carryout in the 1100 block of N. Rolling Road on Sunday. The men entered the carryout, ordered food and said they would return to get the food. About 10 minutes later, they returned and one of the men stood near the door and pulled a handgun. The other man told him to shoot anyone who entered the store, then took money from the cash register. Police said one of the suspects had several gold teeth.

Burglary: Auto parts and stereo equipment valued at more than $1,000 were stolen Sunday from a garage in the 1900 block of Alto Vista Ave.

Robbery: A gunman who robbed the Shell service station in the 6600 block of Security Blvd. of about $100 Sunday.

Robbery: A couple was in the 1600 block of Forest Park Ave. on Sunday when three men, one armed with a handgun, robbed them of cash and property, all valued at nearly $200.
