Harford County championships postponed again

February 18, 1996

The Harford County wrestling championships, postponed for a second time yesterday, are rescheduled for tomorrow and Tuesday at North Harford High School.

The opening program will begin at 3 p.m., and Tuesday's time will depend upon how many rounds are completed the night before.

Friday's scheduled opening round was postponed to Saturday because of the snowstorm, but Friday night county transportation officials took care of Saturday when they refused to release school buses for team travel.

Aberdeen, led by defending 103-pound champion Kevin Carter (17-1) and 112-pound finalist James Axel (17-2), has won the last 11 titles and is favored once again.
