Ruth Elizabeth Wilson, 68, social services receptionist

Ruth Elizabeth Wilson, 68, a receptionist and clerk typist in the Maryland Department of Social Services in Annapolis for 17 years until she retired in 1987, died Monday at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin. She had several chronic ailments.

The Baltimore native attended Catonsville High School. She moved to Cape St. Clair after she and John R. Wilson were married in 1953.

In 1977, the family moved to Stevensville where she lived until her retirement, when Ocean City became their home. Mr. Wilson, died in 1994.

She was a member of Atlantic United Methodist Church in Ocean City.

A graveside service will be held at noon tomorrow at Stevensville Cemetery in Stevensville.

She is survived by a son, Bernard R. Woehlke of Annapolis; two daughters, Nancy E. Fitzpatrick of Queenstown and Deborah L. Wilson DiCristofaro of Ocean City; two sisters, Ethel Mathison of Baltimore and Meta Harrison of Ellicott City; and three grandchildren.
