Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Baltimore City

Central District

Shooting: A 34-year-old man was in the 600 block of W. Lafayette Ave. on Tuesday when he heard two gunshots and felt a pain in his chest. A friend drove him to Maryland General Hospital, where physicians treated him for a bullet wound before transferring him to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was in serious but stable condition yesterday.

Robbery: A 15-year-old boy was in the 200 block of N. Eutaw St. on Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $20.

Robbery: Two men, one with a knife, robbed a woman of more than $200 Tuesday in the 700 block of St. Paul St.

Northeastern District

Burglary: U.S. savings bonds and coins, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Tuesday from a home in the 5400 block of Moores Run Road.

Burglary: An 18-speed bike valued at $300 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 2000 block of E. 32nd St.

Northern District

Rape: Police were seeking a man who raped a masseuse in her West 27th Street home Tuesday while threatening her with a piece of wood. The man also robbed her of more than $100. Police said the man had made an appointment with the woman.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed Young's Gift Shop in the 5400 block of York Road on Tuesday.

Robbery: A man was in the 3900 block of Greenmount Ave. on Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of a jacket and cash, all valued at more than $160.

Burglary: A television, videocassette recorder and stereo equipment were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 900 block of Argonne Drive.

Southwestern District

Theft from auto: A radar detector valued at $220 was stolen Tuesday from a car parked in the 1500 block of Bloomfield Road.

Robbery: A resident of the 4100 block of Glenhunt Road was near her home Tuesday when a man armed with a knife robbed her of $13.

Western District

Burglary: A 19-inch TV and two VCRs, all valued at nearly $700, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1100 block of Riggs Ave.

Robbery: A 23-year-old woman was in the 500 block of Boswell Ave. when she was assaulted Tuesday by a man who robbed her of $60.

Robbery: A 71-yer-old woman was in the 1800 block of Ruxton Ave. on Tuesday when a man knocked her down and robbed her of $30.

Baltimore County

North Point Precinct

Theft: A snow blower valued at more than $300 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 2100 block of Lodge Farm Road.

Robbery: A gunman wearing a hood over his face robbed the High's dairy store in the 6900 block of German Hill Road on Tuesday.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery/arrests: Police arrested two men who are suspected of robbing the Mars market in the 11900 block of Reisterstown Road on Tuesday. Police stopped a car occupied by two men at Interstate 695 near Interstate 795 after the robbery made the arrests.
