Outlook: This game is for first place in the Northeast Conference. Both teams are 11-2, and whichever wins the NEC will be home throughout the tournament. The Mount is 8-0 at Knott Arena and has won nine in a row overall, including Saturday's 85-56 rout of St. Francis (N.Y.), when senior G Chris McGuthrie scored 25 points and the Mountaineers tied a school record with 15 three-pointers. Monmouth, which has won four of its last five, was the last team to defeat the Mount, 82-77, on Jan. 17. McGuthrie had 36 points, but the Hawks had three players score at least 20 points, led by senior G John Giraldo with 23. Junior F Corey Albano averages about 17 ppg and 7.0 rpg. The Mount, which leads the series, 12-11, is the NEC's highest-scoring team at 76.0 ppg, but Monmouth is its best shooting team at 48 percent, and is tied with Marist for fewest average points allowed at 65.7.

Navy (11-11) at Colgate (10-13)

Outlook: After losing on the road to Holy Cross on Saturday, 77-67, Navy (6-3) finds itself a half-game behind second-place Colgate (6-2) in the Patriot League. The Midshipmen lost their first meeting this season with the Red Raiders in Annapolis on Jan. 20, 89-67. Junior point guard Brian Walker is battling a severe shooting slump, hitting only 11 of his past 56 shots. Colgate sophomore center Adonal Foyle ranks among the nation's leaders in scoring (19.6), rebounding (12.5) and blocked shots (4.8).
