A 28-year-old Reisterstown woman was in serious but stable condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center last night after driving into a tree on Deer Park Road early Sunday morning.
According to police reports, Annette Marie Carroll was driving her 1987 Plymouth Sundance west near Gamber Road when her car went off a curve in the right side of the road. Police said she struck a tree in the 2100 block of Deer Park Road.
Fire
Eldersburg: Sykesville, Gamber and Winfield responded to a stove fire in the 900 block of Slash Pine Court at 7:50 p.m. Saturday. Units were out for 20 minutes.
Eldersburg: Sykesville, Gamber and Winfield responded to a chimney fire in the 6300 block of Tamarack Circle at 6:53 p.m. Saturday. Units were out for 31 minutes.
Eldersburg: Gamber investigated a possible fire on Irving Ruby Road at 10:04 a.m. Saturday. Units were out for 30 minutes.
Glenwood: Sykesville assisted Howard County in investigating smoke in the 13900 block of Burnt Woods Road at 9:58 a.m. Monday. Units were out for 41 minutes.
West Friendship: Sykesville assisted Howard County on a fire alarm in the 12000 block of Livestock Road at 9:33 p.m. Friday. Units were out for 16 minutes.
