Outlook: The Caps, who have blown two-goal leads in their past two games and settled for ties, are coming off Saturday's 4-4 tie with the Vancouver Canucks. This is the second game vs. Calgary in the past five days. Washington tied the Flames, 4-4, last Thursday. The Caps are undefeated in their past five games (3-0-2) and have played in overtime in four of their past seven outings. Calgary leads the series 35-21-10, but the Caps are 5-3-2 in the past 10 meetings. Washington D Mark Tinordi (concussion) is day-to-day, and D Brendan Witt (broken wrist) and C Stefan Ustorf (separated shoulder) are out. The Caps recalled C Jeff Nelson. Calgary D Steven Chiasson (lacerated lip) and C Corey Millen (back spasms) are day-to-day, and C Claude Lapointe (hip bruise) and RW Ron Stern (shoulder) are out.
