Pedestrian, 15, robbed by 2 teens in North Laurel

A 15-year-old boy was robbed by two other teen-agers while walking in a North Laurel neighborhood Thursday afternoon, Howard County police said.

The North Laurel boy was not injured in the robbery in the 9400 block of Canterbury Riding.

One of the robbers may have had a knife, police said. They did not specify what was stolen.

The incident took place about 3:30 p.m. Thursday when the youth was accosted by two slim males who passed him on the street, took his property and ran.

The robbers were described as white, 5 feet 10 inches tall. One wore a bulky black jacket and a thick black headband around his nose and mouth. The other wore a red flannel waist-length jacket, police said.
