Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Baltimore City

Northwestern District

Stolen car: A 1993 Oldsmobile with tags 186 ASJ was stolen Saturday in the 4600 block of Amos Ave.

Southwestern District

Theft from auto: The battery and fuses were stolen Saturday from a 1988 Ford Mustang parked in the first block of N. Wickham Road.

Robbery: A Randallstown man was in the first block of S. Abington St. on Saturday night when two unarmed men robbed him of $20.

Assault: A 35-year-old man was in the 4100 block of Frederick Ave. on Saturday when he was stopped by several youths who asked if he wanted to buy drugs. When the man declined, the youths knocked him to the ground and struck him with a bottle. He was treated for head injuries at St. Agnes Hospital and released.

Carjacking: A Glen Burnie motorist was stopped in the 2400 block of Frederick Ave. on Saturday when a gunman forced him out of his Burgundy 1988 Volkswagen Jetta with tags YWX 177 and drove off.

Southern District

Robbery: A man struck another man with a bottle in the 200 block of Ostend St. on Saturday and stole the victim's 1995 Ford Ranger with tags 95B 781. The victim was helping the assailant move.

Northern District

Robbery: A 52-year-old man was in the 5500 block of Lothian Road on Saturday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of cash and property, all valued at $60.

Baltimore County

North Point Precinct

Robbery try: A 45-year-old Essex man was in the Western Auto store in the 1700 block of Merritt Blvd. on Saturday when two men knocked him to the pavement and demanded his money. When the victim stood and challenged the two, they fled.

Burglary/arrest: An officer and his police dog, Bud, entered Phil's Lounge in the 6900 block of Holabird Ave. on Saturday night and arrested a 41-year-old man after the officer saw a shadow inside.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: When the occupant of an apartment in the 6500 block of Falkirk Road arrived home Saturday, she saw a man inside the residence and cried out. The man, who had entered through a side window, fled without taking any property.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Two videocassette recorders and a ceiling fan, all valued at $700, were stolen early Saturday from the Sears store at the Hunt Valley Mall in the 100 block of Shawan Road.

Woodlawn Precinct

Carjacking: An 18-year-old Woodlawn man was stopped at a red light at Woodlawn Drive and Dogwood Road on Saturday when two men, one armed with a handgun, got into his 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier with tags RTG 204 and told him to drive away. After he had gone a short distance to Whitehead Road, the men robbed him of his wallet, cash and credit cards, forced him from the car and drove off.

Robbery: A 62-year-old resident of the 400 block of Crosby Road was in her driveway Saturday when a man with a weapon took her purse and property, all valued at $30.
