Mullen gets promotion at Mercy Medical Center

Thomas R. Mullen of Scaggsville has been promoted to execu- tive vice president and chief financial officer at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore.

Mr. Mullen joined Mercy four years ago as head of finance. He was vice president of finance at University of Maryland Medical System. Michelle Glassburn of Columbia has been promoted to assistant director of the Johns Hopkins School of Continuing Studies' Columbia Center.

She will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating site-based academic support services and managing marketing and outreach activities.

Kraft goes to Padgett as staff accountant

Donna L. Kraft has joined Padgett Business Services in Ellicott City as a staff accountant. Mrs. Kraft graduated cum laude from Towson State University in 1992 and lives in Ellicott City.

Iager joins board of Ellicott City bank

Eugene W. Iager Sr., president of Maple Lawn Farms in Fulton, has joined the board of Commercial & Farmers Bank in Ellicott City. He is an active member of the National Turkey Foundation, the 4-H Club and St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Fischer named partner at Chesapeake Telephone

Brett Fischer has been named a partner and general manager of Chesapeake Telephone's Montgomery County office.

Chesapeake Telephone Systems, based in Hanover, provides standard and customized communication equipment.
