Angels: Agreed to terms with P Pete Janicki, P Joe Rosselli and C Chris Turner.

Orioles: Agreed to terms with C Greg Zaun and P Oscar Munoz on one-year contracts.

Rangers: Signed P Mark Mimbs and P Julio Santana to one-year contracts. Invited P Mike Anderson, P Terry Burrows, P Balvino Galvez, P Jonathan Johnson, P Mo Sanford, P Joey Vierra, C Kevin Brown, C Barry Lyons, C Erik Pappas, IF Kevin Elster, former Orioles IF Rene Gonzales, former Orioles 3B/1B Mike Pagliarulo, SS Kurt Stillwell and OF Rudy Pemberton to spring training as nonroster players.

Rockies: Agreed to terms with OF Eric Young and C Jorge Brito on one-year contracts.

Basketball

NBA: Named Dallas Mavericks G Jason Kidd Player of the Week. Kidd led Dallas to two wins in three games, averaging 27.7 points, 10.7 rebounds and 10.7 assists.

Colleges

American Football Coaches Association: Elected Air Force coach Fisher DeBerry president and West Virginia coach Don Nehlen, Eastern Kentucky coach Roy Kidd and Shippensburg coach Rocky Rees vice presidents.

CUNY Athletic Conference: Announced Brooklyn College will be eligible to compete for conference championship in tennis, volleyball, cross country and softball for 1996-97 academic year.

East Tennessee State: Extended the contract of Mike Cavan, football coach, for three years.

Fordham: Announced F Maurice Curtis has transferred from West Virginia and will be eligible after the first semester of the next basketball season.

Iowa: Suspended G Chris Kingsbury for three games because of unsportsmanlike behavior in a basketball game against Penn State on Saturday.

Stetson: Announced the retirement of AD Bob Jacoby, effective May 31. Named Jeff Altier interim AD.

Villanova: Announced Louie Quintana has been barred from NCAA track and field competition because of NCAA policy violations.

Sabres: Recalled G Andrei Trefilov from AHL Rochester. Returned G John Blue to Rochester.

Stars: Recalled D Travis Richards from IHL Michigan. Placed F Shane Churla on the injured list, retroactive to Feb. 3.
