Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Eastern District

Robbery try: A woman was about to leave an automated teller machine in the 2000 block of Harford Road on Monday after depositing money when a man standing behind her brandished a handgun and demanded her money. When the woman told the gunman she had only deposited money, he walked away. The man was wearing a Dallas Cowboys jacket.

Robbery: Police were seeking a man who attacked his grandmother in her home in the 2000 block of Robb St. and stole $400 Monday.

Shooting: A 23-year-old resident of the 2300 block of Harford Road was leaving a store near his home Monday when he was shot in the head by a man who robbed him of $20. The victim was treated for a minor wound at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Northeastern District

Robbery: A man was in the 6000 block of Moravia Park Drive on Monday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of his bike, valued at more than $500.

Robbery: A resident of the 2500 block of Garrett Ave. was near his home Monday when a gunman robbed him of cash and property, all valued at more than $300.

Robbery: A gunman robbed Tiffany's beauty supply store in the 1600 block of Ramblewood Road on Monday.

Burglary: More than $100 was stolen Monday from Hands On Grooming in the 5800 block of Harford Road.

Southwestern District

Drug arrest: Undercover police were near Longwood Street and North Avenue on Monday when they observed a man allegedly selling drugs to several people. When police approached, the man tried to flee and was captured in the 1800 block of N. Rosedale St. Police found nearly 80 gelatin caps of suspected heroin in the possession of the man, a 32-year-old resident of the 2400 block of Linden Ave.

Theft: More than $3,000 from a safe and a Social Security check for nearly $500 were stolen Monday from a house in the 900 block of DeSoto Road. Police said two people had a key to the safe, but several had access to the room.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, attacked a man in the 3300 block of Frederick Ave. on Monday and robbed him of money, a jacket and keys, all valued at more than $200.

North Point Precinct

Theft: A resident of the 7800 block of Collingham Drive told police that his roommate moved out Monday, taking his black leather coat, guitar, compact disc player, money, compact discs, cigarettes, a knife and a pellet gun, all valued at more than $600.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed Basil's Pizzas and Submarines in the 7900 block of Harford Road on Monday.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry valued at nearly $500 was stolen Monday from a house in the 6200 block of Falls Road.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed the Royal Farm store in the 1600 block of W. Joppa Road on Monday.

Garrison Precinct

Arson: Four camping trailers were set on fire on the parking lot of Charlie's RV and Camping Center in the 10100 block of Liberty Road Sunday night or Monday morning. Damage was estimated at nearly $50,000.

Robbery: A gunman robbed the Comfort Inn in the first block of Wooded Way Monday night.
