Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Central District

Shooting: A 39-year-old man was walking to his car in the 800 block of Chauncey Ave. in Reservoir Hill Sunday night when he was assaulted by four other men, one with a handgun. When the victim fell to the pavement, the gunman shot him in the upper right leg. The suspects fled. The victim was in good condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Carjacking: A motorist was stopped at a light in the 700 block of W. North Ave. on Saturday when two men, one with a large caliber handgun, forced their way into the vehicle and ordered him to drive off. The man was forced to drive to Washington, where the suspects remained for more than an hour before returning to the city. At Loch Raven Boulevard and Taylor Avenue in Baltimore County, the men ordered the motorist out and drove off in his 1979 Buick with tags AZP 316.

Stolen car: A four-door gray 1987 Buick Le Sabre with tags CVJ 605 was stolen Sunday in the 1000 block of Cloverdale Road.

Northeastern District

Stolen car: A 1990 Dodge with tags BGR 610 was stolen Sunday in the 4600 block of Arabia Ave.

Assault: A man was in the 2900 block of Alvarado Square on Sunday when another man threatened to cut him with a knife.

Assault: A man was attacked Sunday in the 800 block of McCabe Ave. by two other men. The victim was treated at Good Samaritan Hospital for lacerations of the face and head.

Robbery: A man with an unknown weapon robbed a woman of her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $100, Sunday in the 5200 block of Cedgate Road.

Robbery: A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed Video Villa in the 4300 block of Belair Road of more than $100 Sunday.

Stolen car: A 1993 Plymouth Sundance with tags CVG 341 was stolen Sunday in the 1600 block of E. Cold Spring Lane.

Theft: Police were seeking a man who entered his girlfriend's house in the 1100 block of Ramblewood Road on Sunday and stole $300, then drove off in the woman's 1993 Saturn with tags CND 252.

Northwestern District

Burglary: A compact disc player and a radio were stolen Sunday from an apartment in the 7000 block of Surrey Drive.

Stolen car: A four-door Burgundy 1989 Oldsmobile with tags AKA 229 was stolen Sunday in the 3900 block of Dolfield Ave.

Burglary/assault: Two men, one with a handgun, forcibly entered an apartment in the 2900 block of Reisterstown Road on Sunday and threatened a female occupant. The woman took refuge in the bathroom and called police. The men fled as police arrived.

Western District

Shooting: A man shot another man in the left arm and right shoulder Sunday in the 1600 block of Bakbury Court. The victim was in stable condition yesterday at Bon Secours Hospital.

Cutting/arrest: Police arrested a man and were holding him at the station pending charges that he cut a resident of the 1900 block of W. Lafayette Ave. on the left hand during an incident Sunday at the victim's home. The victim was treated at Bon Secours Hospital and released.

Burglary: A videocassette recorder valued at more than $300 was stolen Sunday from a house in the 1000 block of N. Bentalou St.

Theft: A 75-year-old woman was in the 2200 block of W. North Ave. on Sunday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $20.

Theft: A man known to police left the Super Pride market in the 2000 block of W. Lafayette Ave. on Sunday without paying for a roast valued at nearly $40.

Southwestern District

Theft from auto: Stereo equipment of unknown value was stolen Sunday from a 1986 Jeep parked in the 1100 block of Poplar Grove St.

North Point Precinct

Theft from auto: A cellular phone and other property, all valued at nearly $400, were stolen Sunday from a 1976 Chevrolet Suburban parked in the rear of the 7800 block of Wise Ave.

Towson Precinct

Stolen car: A red 1993 Plymouth Voyager with tags 606930M was stolen Sunday in the first block of Skidmore Court.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 600 block of Walker Ave. on Sunday and stole more than $100 from a jacket pocket.

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: Two men, one with either a rifle or a shotgun, entered Dunkin' Donuts in the 6000 block of Baltimore National Pike on Sunday afternoon and ordered three employees into a bathroom. The robbers then forced a fourth employee to give them money from a cash register and a safe before ordering him into the

bathroom. The robbers also took the employees' wallets.

Robbery: A gunman wearing a dark ski-mask and dark clothing robbed the High's dairy store in the 8700 block of Liberty Road on Sunday.
