Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Southeastern District

Bank robbery: A man who implied he had a handgun gave a teller at the Signet Bank in the 4800 block of Eastern Ave. a note demanding money Friday and escaped with an undisclosed sum.

Shooting: A resident of the 2500 block of McElderry St. was shot Friday in his home by a man known to him. The victim was shot in the mouth and shoulder and was in stable condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Hospital. The assailant was being sought.

Eastern District

Robbery: A gunman robbed a resident of the 1200 block of N. Gay St. of $60 Saturday in the 1800 block of E. Biddle St.

Theft: A cellular phone valued at more than $100 was stolen from a car parked Saturday in the 2000 block of McElderry St.

Burglary/arrest: Police arrested a man inside the Baltimore Service Center in the 2300 block of E. Monument St. on Saturday. He entered through a hole in the roof and was found with 10 cartons of cigarettes valued at $200.

Northeastern District

Burglary: Someone entered an apartment in the 6000 block of Amberwood Road through the front door Saturday and stole a 19-inch television valued at $200.

Stolen car: A blue 1986 Ford with tags TMT 610 was stolen Saturday in the 5400 block of Todd Ave.

Robbery: A man was in the 2000 block of Belair Road when he was assaulted Saturday by two teen-age boys who robbed him of more than $100.

Theft/arrest: Police arrested a man who attempted to leave the Rite Aid pharmacy in the 3900 block of Erdman Ave. on Saturday without paying for camera film valued at more than $40.

Burglary: Someone entered Hopper's carryout in the 4500 block of Erdman Ave. on Saturday and stole 30 cartons of cigarettes valued at $400.

Robbery: A resident of the 4900 block of Gunther Ave. was walking near her home Saturday when a gunman robbed her of cash and property, all valued at $50.

Robbery: Police were seeking two men who robbed a resident of the 4300 block of Walshire Ave. of her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $100, while she walked near her home Saturday.

Northern District

Robbery: A man was in the first block of Ware Alley St. on Saturday when he was assaulted by another man who robbed him of more than $100.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a resident of the 2600 block of Miles Ave. of $7 in the 2500 block of N. Howard St. on Saturday night.

Stabbing: A 32-year-old man was in the 4700 block of Greenspring Ave. on Saturday when another man stabbed him in the chest. The victim was in stable condition yesterday at Sinai Hospital.

Western District

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 2000 block of W. Saratoga St. through a rear door Saturday and stole a microwave oven, electronic games, compact discs and other property, all valued at more than $2,000.

Burglary: A clock valued at $50 was stolen Saturday from a house in the 2100 block of Penrose Ave.

Burglary: A videocassette recorder and several pieces of jewelry, all valued at more than $700, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 2300 block of W. Lanvale St.

Burglary: Someone entered the Club 909 in the 1000 block of N. Calhoun St. through a basement door Saturday and stole more than $100.

Burglary: Property valued at more than $500 was stolen Saturday from a house in the 900 block of Braddish Ave.

Robbery: A woman was in the 1100 block of W. Baltimore St. on Saturday when a man pushed her down and robbed her of cash and property, all valued at more than $1,000.

Robbery: Western District: A 36-year-old woman was leaving a store in the 1800 block of W. North Ave. on Saturday when a man robbed her of cash, jewelry and other property, all valued at more than $1,000.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered Galleria Cleaners in the 1400 block of York Road on Saturday after breaking a door lock and stole less than $100 from a cash register.

Garrison Precinct

Stolen car: A 4-door raspberry-colored 1992 Plymouth Sundance with tags ZMV 206 was stolen Saturday in the 8600 block of Liberty Road.

Robbery: A gunman robbed McDonald's restaurant in the 1700 block of Reisterstown Road in Pikesville of an undisclosed sum of money Friday night.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 5600 block of St. Mary St. on Saturday and stole two dogs, a poodle valued at $400 and a Pekingese valued at $200.

Burglary: More than $500 and coins were stolen Saturday by someone who entered a house in the 1200 block of Martin Court after breaking a door frame.

Robbery: A resident of the first block of Cinnamon Circle was de-icing his car outside his home Saturday night when a man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed him of $70.

Stolen car: A maroon four-door 1995 Plymouth with tags BWS 873 was stolen Saturday in the 3200 block of Burning Wall Road.
