A pizza delivery man was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money Tuesday after a delivery to an apartment in the Greentree complex in Glen Burnie, county police said yesterday.

Kevin Michael Tarr, 41, who delivers for Papa John Pizza, told police he was walking to his car in the 8000 block of Greenleaf Terrace just after 8 p.m. when he felt a sharp object against his back. A man with a deep voice demanded money from him and told him not to turn around, police said.

After Mr. Tarr complied, the man pushed the object into his back again and told him to look straight ahead, police said.

Mr. Tarr waited a few minutes, then turned around, but he did not see the robber, police said.

Mr. Tarr told police he did not hear his assailant approach or leave.
