Shots fired into school boy, 14, is arrested

A 14-year-old boy was arrested yesterday after six shots were fired into a Southeast Baltimore elementary school, school officials and police said.

The shots were fired into empty kindergarten and first-grade classrooms at Charles Carroll of Carrollton Elementary School shortly before noon, police said.

The youth was arrested a short time later and charged with drug possession, a handgun violation and assault with intent to murder.
