Outlook: The Canadiens have lost twice to the Capitals this season, both times ending hot streaks. Washington (23-20-5) is just three points behind Montreal (24-19-6) in the battle for fifth place in the Eastern Conference. This will be Washington's last appearance at the old Forum, which will be replaced by a new building March 16. Caps C Mike Eagles (broken finger) and C Kevin Kaminski (groin) are day-to-day, and D Brendan Witt (broken wrist) is out. Montreal G Jocelyn Thibault (shoulder strain) and Benoit Brunet (sprained back) are day-to-day.
