No. 1 Seton Keough beats Mount de Sales Gators improve to 5-0 in the Catholic League

Melanie Morris and Amanda Foster combined for 28 points as No. 1 Seton Keough (13-2) improved to 5-0 in the Catholic League with a 50-28 win over host Mount de Sales (4-11, 0-5) yesterday.

The Gators held the Sailors to just eight field goals.

* Arundel 90, Chesapeake-AA 27: Chavonne Hammond scored 20 points to power No. 2 Arundel (13-2) past Chesapeake-AA (1-11). Laschelle McHenry added 11 for the Wildcats.

* Catonsville 70, Loch Raven 20: Shannon Rexrode scored 15 points as No. 4 Catonsville dropped host Loch Raven. The Comets outscored the Raiders, 25-4, in the second quarter.

* Fallston 68, North Harford 39: Karen Tiedemann had 24 as the No. 8 Cougars stayed unbeaten (8-0 overall, 5-0 in league). Tiedemann also had seven rebounds and five steals, while teammate Rachel Simon added nine points and seven steals.

* Mercy 63, Spalding 33: Shannon Cohen led all scorers with 21 points as the No. 10 Magic (14-6, 4-4) rebounded from two straight losses.

* Severna Park 70, Northeast 24: Jennifer Holmes led the way with a game-high 18 points as the No. 11 Falcons (10-5) breezed past the visiting Knights. Angela DeSalvo had 17 points for Severna Park, which led 31-15 at halftime and held Northeast to one basket in the final quarter.

* Annapolis 55, Old Mill 43: Kristen Kapusta scored 14 as No. 13 Annapolis (10-4) defeated visting Old Mill (6-7). Annapolis built a 30-11 halftime lead.

* Mount Hebron 53, Oakland Mills 42: Alisha Mosley scored 23 to power No. 15 Mount Hebron (8-3) past visiting Oakland Mills (2-10). Kena Hodges led Oakland Mills with 19.

Glenelg 52, Howard 47: Jill Younce scored 23 points as No. 16 Glenelg (10-4) topped visiting Howard. Lauren Martin added 17 points for the Gladiators, who hit six three-pointers.

* Milford Mill 64, Owings Mills 19: Akilah Crowner had a game-high 15 points to lead the No. 19 Millers (12-2). Jenna Bradford added 12 points for Milford Mill.

* Broadneck 40, Meade 33: Sarah Brino scored 19 points as host Broadneck downed Meade.
