Outlook: Coppin State coach Fang Mitchell goes for his 400th career win tonight. His team has won five in a row, including Monday night's 81-65 rout of Florida A&M that raised the Eagles' MEAC record to 5-0. Junior Terquin Mott (20.5 ppg, 6.1 rpg), one of the many newcomers to the program, again led Coppin in scoring with 20 points. Two other additions, Antoine Brockington (11.9 ppg) and Reggie Welch (17.8 ppg, 7.1 rpg), had 17 and 16 points, respectively. UMES lost at North Carolina A&T Monday, 62-61, when Marcus Williams scored on a put-back with two seconds left, dropping the Fighting Hawks to 4-4 in the MEAC. They led by 13 with 11:57 remaining before North Carolina A&T made its run. Senior Aaron McKinney led UMES with 16 points. Coppin leads the series, 32-10, including a three-point victory earlier this month. Mitchell is 18-0 against the Hawks.

Howard (0-14) at Morgan State (3-12)

Radio: WEAA (88.9 FM)

Outlook: Morgan was beaten at Bethune-Cookman Monday night, 68-58. The Bears are 2-2 and in fifth place in the MEAC. Senior Paul Grant is the only Morgan player averaging double figures in scoring at 10.9 ppg. Morgan leads the series 45-34. Howard (0-5 MEAC) is led by freshman Jabari Outtz (17.1 ppg). Phil Chenier, who was averaging 12.3 ppg. suffered a knee injury and is out for the season.

Mount St. Mary's (8-6) at Fairleigh Dickinson (5-10)

Site: Rothman Center, Hackensack, N.J.

Time: 7:30

Outlook: The Mountaineers rolled over St. Francis (Pa.) Monday night, 73-44, improving their NEC record to 4-2. Senior G Chris McGuthrie (22.5 ppg) had 28 points in 29 minutes. The Mount trails the series, 10-5.
