Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Central District

Bank robbery: A man robbed the NationsBank in the 100 block of S. Charles St. of an undisclosed sum of money Monday after giving a teller a note.

Bank robbery: On Monday, Harbor Bank of Maryland in the first block of W. Fayette St. was robbed of an undisclosed sum of money Monday by a man who gave a teller a note demanding cash.

Robbery: A 21-year-old resident of the 300 block of N. Charles St. was walking a block from his home early Monday when four youths, one with a handgun and one with a shotgun, robbed him of $7.

Northeastern District

Shooting: A man was in fair condition at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center yesterday after he was shot in the left buttock and right forearm Monday in the 5200 block of Goodnow Road.

Robbery: Two men, one with a large-caliber handgun, robbed a resident of the 4900 block of Bowleys Lane of an undisclosed sum of money Monday in the 5600 block of Bowleys Lane.

Northern District

Theft/arrest: A man was arrested Monday when he tried to leave the Radio Shack in the 700 block of W. 40th St. without paying for a video-camera battery, a personal emergency phone and other items, all valued at nearly $300.

Western District

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 2200 block of Parkwood Ave. of $20 Monday in the 2200 block of N. Fulton Ave.

Assault: A woman was in fair condition yesterday at Maryland General Hospital after suffering multiple lacerations when she was attacked Monday in the 2100 block of Pennsylvania Ave. by four teen-age boys who struck her with a bottle and kicked her.

Carjacking: A motorist was stopped in the 2000 block of Pennsylvania Ave. on Monday when a gunman forced him out of his 1991 Cadillac with tags CGF 788 and drove off.

Southwestern District

Burglary: A video camera, watches and a safe, all valued at more than $2,000, were stolen Monday from an apartment in the 100 block of Northbend Road.

Robbery: Two men assaulted a woman Monday in the 2800 block of Wilkens Ave. and stole her leather coat valued at nearly $300.

Parkville Precinct

Stolen car: A 1993 Honda Civic with tags CHV 256 and valued at $13,000 was stolen Monday in the 2500 block of Ebony Road.

Cockeysville Precinct

Robbery: A resident of the 8500 block of Southfield Circle in Timonium was leaving her car Monday night when a gunman RTC robbed her of a purse and its contents, all valued at more than $50.

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: Monday night, two men and a woman robbed Classic Jewelry at the Charing Cross Shopping Center in the 5200 block of Baltimore National Pike of jewelry and cellular telephones, all valued at more than $2,000.

Wilkens Precinct

Arson: Someone set fire to a motorcycle Monday in the 400 block of Bigley Ave. in Lansdowne.
