Woman charged in connection with road death

State police arrested a Glen Burnie woman Saturday and charged her in connection with the August death of a man who was struck by a car on Route 100 in Pasadena.

Diane Carole Sevick, 31, of the 100 block of Plymouth Lane, was charged with failure to remain at the scene of a fatal accident, failure to report the accident and negligent driving, police said.

She was released on her own recognizance.

Trooper Shelly Lemon said Randy Blake Dodrill, 26, of the 500 block of Park Road in Severna Park, was hit by a 1983 Nissan about 10 p.m. Aug. 26.

Suspect in Pa. slaying arrested in Glen Burnie

A Pennsylvania man charged in the slaying of a 77-year-old man was arrested at a Glen Burnie residence Saturday, state police said.

Police at the Glen Burnie Barracks learned Saturday that Warren E. Bibb of Waynesboro, Pa., was staying at a house in the 200 block of Sunset Drive, where they arrested him.

Mr. Bibb is being held without bond at the county Detention Center pending an extradition hearing, police said.

Pennsylvania State Police at Gettysburg said that on Jan. 16, three men broke into the home of John H. Aiken in Highland Township, Pa., robbed him of $90, a shotgun and a rifle and then fatally shot him.

Two other suspects were arrested early Saturday at their Gettysburg homes.
