Outlook: The Bandits (1-0) defeated the defending-champion Philadelphia Wings, 15-12, last Friday at the Spectrum and the Thunder lost to the Wings the next night at home, 17-12. Troy Cordingley led the Bandits in their opener with three goals and one assist and All-Pro John Tavares and Jason Luke, the Bandits' top draft pick in 1996, added two goals apiece. Baltimore (1-1) has not beaten the Bandits in five tries, including last year's 23-12 loss at Memorial Auditorium, a venue that the Bandits will abandon next year when they move into the Marine Midland Arena.
