Man accused of assaulting woman tenant

A Shady Side man was arrested Wednesday and charged with assaulting a woman who had rented a room in his house, county police said.

Glenda Ann Brothers, 38, called police to the house in the 5100 block of Spring Ave. shortly after 2:30 a.m. Wednesday and told them she had been shoved into a wall, police said.

Ms. Brothers suffered a bloody lip and a swollen eye but did not need medical attention, police said.

OC William Martin Pryor, 39, was charged with assault and battery.
