Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Southeastern District

Drug arrests: After Officers Michael Guzman and Dean Palmere stopped a 1984 Honda Civic in the 5700 block of Eastern Ave. for a broken taillight Tuesday, they spotted suspected cocaine in the vehicle and ordered three male occupants out of the car. One man attempted to flee but was captured. From the car, the officers recovered nearly 400 bags or vials of suspected cocaine with a street value of between $6,000 and $7,000. Also recovered was $164 in cash. Arrested and charged with possession of suspected cocaine with intent to distribute were Tyrone A. Jackson, 24, of the 3100 block of E. Biddle St.; Sean Xavier Ellis, 24, of the 1400 block of Holbrook St., and Andre Smith, 20, of an out-of-town address.

Eastern District

Shooting: An unidentified man was found shot in the neck in the 2000 block of E. Lanvale St. on Tuesday next to a car that was reported stolen earlier in Baltimore County. The man was in serious condition yesterday at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He told police he was forced into the car by three men and then shot. Police were attempting to learn if the man was involved in the theft of the car.

Northern District

Stolen vehicle: A 1972 Ford truck with tags 36C128 was stolen Tuesday in the 3600 block of N. Charles St.

Burglary: A snow shovel, tools and a fish sculpture, all valued at more than $120, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 700 block of Fields St.

Robbery: A 36-year-old resident of the 2600 block of St. Paul St. was walking near her home Tuesday when two youths demanded her purse. When the woman refused and began to walk away, one of the youths brandished a knife and threatened to cut her. The woman then gave up her purse containing a watch valued at $40, sunglasses valued at $20 and $35 in cash.

Theft: Police were seeking two men who stole a bicycle from the Mount Washington Bike Shop in the 5800 block of Falls Road on Tuesday. Police said one of the men was known to the shop owner.

Theft/arrest: Police arrested a 30-year-old man who attempted to leave the Royal Farm store in the 1100 block of W. 41st St. on Tuesday without paying for three cans of insect spray.

Burglary: Someone entered Uncle Lee's Szechuan restaurant in the 3300 block of Greenmount Ave. on Tuesday after breaking a door window and removed an undisclosed sum of money from a cash register.

Western District

Robbery: A 13-year-old resident of the 300 block of E. 27th St. was in the 1500 block of Harlem Ave. on Tuesday when two teen-age boys, one armed with a handgun, robbed her of a pager valued at $70.

Theft/arrest: Police arrested a 23-year-old man who attempted to leave the Farm Fresh store in the 2300 block of Liberty Heights Ave. on Tuesday without paying for 12 cans of tuna fish valued at $40.

Theft: A 36-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday after she attempted to leave the Rite Aid pharmacy at the Mondawmin Mall without paying for merchandise valued at $17.

Northeastern District

Robbery: A resident of the 1500 block of E. 28th St. was in the 2900 block of The Alameda on Tuesday when two men robbed him of a black leather jacket, two pagers and jewelry, all valued at more than $300.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a 33-year-old resident of the 3500 block of Juneway of her purse and $15 in the 4000 block of Erdman Ave. on Tuesday.

BURGLARY: A watch and several compact discs, all valued at more than $2,600, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1600 block of Walterswood Road.

Burglary: Auto rims, tires and a floor jack, all valued at more than $1,500, were stolen Tuesday from a garage in the 1700 block of E. 33rd St.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered Toys R Us in the 8800 block of Pulaski Highway on Tuesday, causing $300 damage to a side door. Taken was a fire alarm box.

North Point Precinct

Robbery: A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed the Merritt Manor Brite Wash, a laundromat in the 1100 block of Merritt Blvd., of more than $100 Tuesday.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 7300 block of Conley St. through a rear basement door Tuesday but didn't steal any property. However, the intruder caused $75 damage to the door.

Towson Precinct

Stolen car: A 1993 Honda Accord with tags ATK 254 was stolen Tuesday in the 2200 block of Falls Road.

Stolen car: A 1990 Acura Legend with tags CXW 307 was stolen Tuesday in the 2300 block of Mellow Court.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: Two men, one with a shotgun and the other a handgun, robbed McDonald's restaurant in the 500 block of Reisterstown Road in Pikesville of an undisclosed sum of money Tuesday.

Robbery: A 23-year-old man was at Milford Mill Road and Washington Avenue on Tuesday when he was assaulted by two men who robbed him of $30.
