Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Northern District

Theft: A cellular phone, an automobile anti-theft device, clothing and auto accessories, all valued at nearly $300, were stolen Monday from a 1987 Toyota Camry parked in the 500 block of Benninghaus Road.

Theft: A student at Loyola College reported that a roommate moved out recently, taking the victim's guitar, valued at $1,000.

Theft: An elderly woman was watching television in her home in the 2600 block of N. Calvert St. on Monday when she heard a noise. On checking, she found that someone had stolen the window out of her storm door.

Robbery: A resident of the 300 block of W. 31st St. was in the 3000 block of Fox St. on Monday when two men robbed him of $100 and a coat valued at $200.

Northeastern District

Robbery: A man armed with a silver-colored semiautomatic handgun robbed Frank's Nursery & Crafts in the 5200 block of Belair Road of an undisclosed sum of money Monday.

Robbery: When a resident of the 7200 block of Jimrowe Court answered a knock at his door Monday afternoon, four men with handguns forced their way in and robbed him of jewelry and cash.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Police were seeking a man who entered a house in the 4800 block of Silver Spring Road on Monday and left his coat and identification behind. Before he could take anything, the man was scared off by the occupant, who found the intruder's property.

Essex Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A 1995 Yamaha 4-Runner all-terrain vehicle with no tags was stolen Monday in the 10000 block of Bird River Road.

North Point Precinct

Theft: On Monday, three men stole jewelry valued at $1,000 from Eastern Jewelers at Eastpoint Mall.

Robbery: An employee of Captain Phillips' bar in the first block of Dundalk Ave. was riding home on his bicycle Monday when a man knocked him to the ground at Dunmanway and Dunleer Road and robbed him of $70.

Parkville Precinct

Stolen car: A 1993 Honda Accord with Virginia vanity tags AHRISA was stolen Monday in the first block of Duntore Place.

Towson Precinct

Stolen truck: A 1986 Toyota truck with no tags was stolen Monday in the 8800 block of Orchard Tree Lane.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglaries: Dishwashers and ranges valued at nearly $1,400 were stolen Monday from three homes under construction in the 11900 block of Hunters Run Drive.

Garrison Precinct

Attempted murder/arrest: Police arrested a man Monday after his girlfriend was cut on her back with a knife during an argument in their home in the 4600 block of Debilen Circle. Officer Scott Leonard said the woman refused medical treatment. Michael Lewis, 26, was charged with assault with intent to kill and a weapons violation.

Carjacking: A motorist was in the 4100 block of Old Court Road on Monday when two men, one with a handgun, forced him out of his 1983 Chevrolet Blazer, tag number 299918M.
