Cab driver robbed of cash by gunman

A cab driver was robbed Friday by a purported customer who put a gun to the driver's head and demanded cash, county

police said.

Donald Blair, 37, a driver for Associated Taxi, was not hurt in the incident.

Police said Mr. Blair went to Warwickshire Lane in Glen Burnie to pick up a fare shortly before midnight. A man got into his car, pulled out a semiautomatic pistol, pointed it at Mr. Blair's head and demanded money, police said.

Mr. Blair complied, and the man ran away. Police searched for the bandit but did not find him. They have no description of the gunman.
