Reserve lifts Siena past Loyola, 77-62

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. -- Siena reserve Andy Thies scored 11 of his 20 in the second half points as the Saints topped Loyola last night, 77-62.

The Greyhounds (3,8- 0-1 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) never led and managed only two field goals in the final 4:24.

Siena (5-7, 1-0) shot 58 percent (14 of 24) in the first half to take a 38-27 halftime lead.
