7 from vehicle attack trio on street

Seven men beat a Glen Burnie man and his two friends with a crowbar and beer cans Tuesday as they walked along Aquahart Road, county police said.

Donnie Allen Eaton, 21, of the 700 block of Delman Ave. told police that he and Scott C. Cousens and Todd K. Gordon, both of San Jose, Calif., were walking near Somerset Drive about 7 p.m. when they heard a car horn.

The trio moved out of the way of a Ford Bronco, which passed them.

The driver pulled into a driveway, and seven men got out of the vehicle and approached Mr. Eaton and his friends, police said.

Mr. Eaton was hit on the back of the head and suffered a black eye, Mr. Cousens was hit with the crowbar on the right hip, and Mr. Gorder suffered bruises and scratches, though none required medical attention, police said.
