Love In Bloom

January 07, 1996|By Vida Roberts | Vida Roberts,Sun Fashion Editor

It is no accident of language that the ways of love are so often described in the vocabulary of flowers. Love blossoms. Love fades. Love grows. It is no wonder then that flowers are the living expression of celebration at the wedding. Whether a modest spray of spring blooms or a magnificent display of hothouse exotics, flowers always say the right thing.

Floral embellishment is traditional to bridal finery, too. Simple appliques of daisies or richly detailed buds and full-blown roses formed of satins, organzas and laces now dress the loveliest dresses.

Step prettily through the petals!
