Townhomes at ClayBrooke

1. Bob Ward New Homes Group LLC has begun construction of the Townhomes at ClayBrooke in Woodlawn, where the firm is building 73 three-level houses with gas heat and hot water and either a walk-out or English basement.

The townhomes are built under the Baltimore Gas and Electric Co.'s EnergyWi$e program, which is aimed at lowering energy costs through the use of high-efficiency heating and cooling equipment, better insulation and windows and other features.

Two 1,152-square-foot-townhouses with a base price of $89,900 for an inside unit and $92,900 for an end of group are offered at ClayBrooke.

A 14-by-9-foot front kitchen and a guest closet flank the foyer of the Barclay.

The first floor has a second closet, a dining area and a 17-by-15-foot living room.

In the Clayton, a 17-by-10-foot kitchen and 12-by-7-foot dining area share the rear of the home.

There are also a foyer and two closets, as well as a 13-by-9 foot living room.

Either house can be built with one of five second-floor layouts. The standard upper-level plan has a full bath that can be entered from the hall or the 14-by-11-foot master bedroom.

There are two other bedrooms and a linen closet.

For an additional $3,000, buyers can add a master bath to the standard second floor or choose to have two large bedrooms with two full baths.
