Jockey Edgar Prado will return from his suspension today to ride the possible favorite, Oh Summer, in today's $50,000 Francis Scott Key Stakes at Laurel Park.

One of Maryland's leading riders was levied a seven-day penalty this week for his ride in the second race on Dec. 29. He agreed to serve an additional day of the penalty (Jan. 11) in exchange for permission to ride Oh Summer.

The 4-year-old filly is coming off a 1 1/2 -length score in a $24,000 allowance event that was on the same card that led to Prado's suspension. Among the opposition will be Two Punch Lil, winner of the In The Curl Stakes her last time out, the speedy Calipha and stakes winners Pleasant Dilemma and White Cliffs.

Post time changes

Laurel Park will change its first post time for live racing to 12:45 p.m., effective Jan. 13.
