In an article published Dec. 6, 1995, The Sun wrongly attributed a statement about Macao and China to Frederico Rato, a Macao lawyer and resident. Mr. Rato was not interviewed by the newspaper and had not expressed an opinion to the paper about Macao's future.
The Sun apologizes for the error and any misrepresentation of Mr. Rato's opinions.
