Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Central District

Shooting: A 21-year-old resident of the 900 block of Hendler Lane was in his back yard Tuesday when an occupant of a car that had stopped in the 2400 block of Eutaw Place shot him in both arms and the chest. He was in serious condition yesterday at University of Maryland Medical Center.

Northeastern District

Robbery: A youth was in the 5600 block of Loch Raven Blvd. on Tuesday when a man robbed him of cash and property, all valued at $80.

Robbery: A motorist was in the 1600 block of Pentwood Road on Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of his 1989 Plymouth.

Northwestern District

Cab holdup: Police were seeking two men who robbed a driver for Yellow cab of more than $100 in the 4700 block of Delaware Ave. on Tuesday.

Robbery: Two men robbed a resident of the 1800 block of Ashburton St. of jewelry valued at nearly $140 in the 2600 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway on Tuesday. One implied he was armed.

Northern District

Burglary/arrest: Police arrested a man who entered a house in the 2500 block of Keyworth Ave. on Tuesday and stole property valued at more than $800. Two witnesses saw the man and recognized him as a resident of the 1900 block of Herbert St. Police went to the Herbert Street house, arrested the man and recovered the property.

Western District

Shooting: A 21-year-old man was in the 2400 block of W. Baltimore St. on Tuesday when he was shot in the left arm and left leg. He was in critical condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Southwestern District

Drug arrests: Members of the district's tactical squad raided a house in the 2900 block of Brighton St. on Tuesday, arrested a couple on drug charges and seized nearly 500 large gelatin capsules of suspected heroin valued at $10,000. Officer Sean Kapfhammer said the arrests came a week after police placed the house under surveillance, acting on complaints from neighbors. Susan Troutman, 44, and Kenneth Johnson, 34, both of the Brighton Street address, were charged with possession of narcotics with intent to distribute heroin under the state's drug kingpin law.

Drug arrests: Two teen-age boys were arrested yesterday in a vacant house in the 500 block of Loudon Ave. and charged as juveniles with possession of suspected cocaine with intent to distribute. Seized were 156 capsules of suspected cocaine valued at $1,560 and a half-ounce of suspected cocaine valued at $600. Police described the dwelling as a stash house.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: Two armed men wearing masks robbed the Burger King in the 8300 block of Pulaski Highway on Tuesday of an undisclosed sum of money. The men got money from a safe and a cash register.

North Point Precinct

Robbery: A man with a knife robbed the Sugarless Shop in the 700 block of Merritt Blvd. of an undisclosed sum of money Tuesday.

Parkville Precinct

Theft: Police were seeking a man who entered a business in the 13000 block of Bottom Road in Hydes on Tuesday and stole three rings valued at more than $2,000.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Someone attempted to break into the automated teller machine at a NationsBank branch in the 1300 block of York Road on Tuesday. Damage to the machine was estimated at $3,000.
