Cohen was named the Most Valuable Player of the Noel Classic at Archbishop Spalding. The junior guard totaled 69 points, eight rebounds, 21 assists and 10 steals during Mercy's three wins.

Rene Hines

Hammond

Hines made a three-pointer with six seconds left against Southern-Garrett as Hammond won the championship of the Capital City Classic at Annapolis. The junior forward totaled 59 points and 37 rebounds in three tournament games.

Sal Aquia

Curley

Aquia, a 145-pounder, won his third straight tournament of the year when he placed first in his class at the Arundel Tournament. The junior also has a 13-0 record and has allowed just nine points.

At the end of the school year each player chosen as an jTC Athlete of the Week will be invited to a luncheon Tuesday, June 4, at the Towson Sheraton, where one male and one female athlete of the year will be chosen.
