Pieper's 30 help Marquette trounce Morgan State, 98-58

MILWAUKEE -- Anthony Pieper scored 30 points, including 14 on three-point shots, as Marquette defeated Morgan State, 98-58, last night after opening the second half with a 15-0 run.

Marquette (7-2) led 58-28 after Pieper scored eight points during the run.

Morgan State (1-10), playing with three freshmen as starters and with only one player over 6 feet 5, shot just 27 percent. The Bears have averaged 24.6 points during a seven-game road trip.

Paul Grant led Morgan State with 14 points. Jerard Rucker was the only other Morgan State player to score in double digits with 11.
