Emmitsburg: Harney firefighters assisted Frederick County in responding to a child locked in a house in the 11000 block of Harney Road at 4:23 p.m. Friday. Units were canceled after one minute.

Mount Joy Township, Pa.: Harney firefighters assisted Adams County at a house fire in the 3600 block of Taneytown Road at 10:23 a.m. Thursday. Units were out three hours. Taneytown transferred an engine to Harney to fill in.

New Windsor: Firefighters from New Windsor, Union Bridge and Libertytown of Frederick County responded to a report of an odor of propane in the 1400 block of Beth Way at 10:54 a.m. Wednesday. Units were out 20 minutes.
