S. Keough edges Spalding in OT

New No. 1 Seton Keough needed overtime to defeat unranked Archbishop Spalding, 57-55, in a Catholic League game at Spalding yesterday.

Meghann Donovan (31 points) and Andrea Pinheiro combined to score all seven of the Gators' points in overtime.

Seton Keough (7-1, 2-0) was without All-Metro guard Melanie Morris (flu) and guard Charity Carbine (concussion). Carbine sustained the concussion after being a passenger in a car accident Friday night. Spalding (3-2, 1-1) is coming off a 2-20 season.
