Opponent: Connecticut Wolves
Site: Du Burns Arena

Outlook: The Bays, who have what coach Kevin Healey calls "the strongest team, on paper, we've had yet," play Connecticut in a U.S. Interregional Soccer League season opener for both teams. Joe Koziol, a former Blast player who joined the Bays late last season, will anchor a defense that is without starting goalie Dave Tenney (shoulder). Billy Ronson, the league's assist leader the past two seasons, is back at midfield for the Bays and is joined by Washington Warthogs stars Marcello Valencia and Dennison Cabral. Eric Riedlbauer, the Bays' leading goal scorer, is joined at attack by former NPSL stars Derrick Marcano (Spirit) and Rob Elliott (Harrisburg Heat).
