Navy Ensign Antonio Leonardo, son of Rudy and Joan Leonardo of Westminster, recently graduated from the Basic Civil Engineer Corps Officer School.
During the course in Port Hueneme, Calif., students received instruction in engineering management, network analysis, financial management and Navy organization. Studies included military and civilian personnel management and administration, Navy industrial funding, shore facility planning and construction
battalion operations.
A 1983 graduate of Westminster High School, Ensign Leonardo joined the Navy in March 1987. He received a bachelor of science degree in 1992 from West Virginia University, and a master's degree last year from Frostburg State University.

Westminster: A Westminster man reported to city police Tuesday that someone punctured three tires on his vehicle, which was parked on Gallatin Court. Damage was estimated at $300.
Westminster: A Taneytown man reported to city police Thursday that someone took his 10-speed mountain bike from in front of a Westminster residence in the 200 block of Wimert Ave. The loss was estimated at $200.
Fire
Westminster: Reese and Westminster firefighters responded to a fire alarm on Baltimore Boulevard at 8:01 a.m. Thursday. Units were out 15 minutes.
Westminster: Westminster, Reese, Pleasant Valley and Manchester firefighters responded to a residential stove fire at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday on Chase Street. Units returned in 20 minutes.
Westminster: Westminster and Reese firefighters responded to a stove fire in the 200 block of Garden Way at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Units were out 32 minutes.
