The West County Child Care Network will hold its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 6, in the Odenton Elementary School. The guest for the evening will be craftswoman Pam Frymark who will bring materials to make Christmas ornaments. She will also demonstrate dry flower arranging, wreath and swag making.

The Child Care Network usually meets the third Wednesday of each month to give day-care providers an opportunity to share ideas and experiences and to promote and support quality child care. There usually is no fee, and meetings are open to all regardless of location.

Topics for future meetings include: the role of the child-care provider in detecting and helping children with developmental delays; how to be assertive; and children's behavior modification. The network also offers crafts and activities that can be used by child-care providers.
