November 27, 1995|By Tanya Jones | Tanya Jones,SUN STAFF

The Western District Police-Community Relations Council needs help with its holiday buffet to recognize the officers and staff of the district.

The council is asking community organizations, churches, businesses and citizens to donate money or food for the buffet, scheduled for Dec. 13 at the police station in Odenton. Organizers especially need hot dishes and desserts.

The buffet will run from noon to midnight, covering the station's three duty shifts.

Checks may be sent to the Western District Police-Community Relations Council at 8273 Telegraph Road, Odenton 21113. Food will be accepted at the police station on the day of the buffet beginning at 10 a.m. Donors should mark their dishes with their name, address and telephone number. Information: Dave Daughters, council vice president, (410) 672-5703.
