Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Western District

Shooting: A 9-year-old girl was shot in the stomach yesterday while playing outside her home in the 1400 block of Riggs Ave. and was in good condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She was shot by one of two gunmen firing at each other at Riggs Avenue and Woodyear Street about noon.

Robbery: A resident of the 2800 block of W. Lanvale St. was walking near his home Saturday when a gunman robbed him of cash and property, all valued at more than $200.

Stolen car: Police were seeking a 1984 Datsun, with license plate number 30794, that was stolen Saturday from the 900 block of N. Appleton St. The car has tags for a handicapped driver.

Rape: A 14-year-old girl was walking in an alley behind the 1400 block of N. Carey St. on Saturday when a man grabbed her around the neck, threw her to the pavement and raped her before releasing her. The girl was treated at University of Maryland Medical Center and released.

Central District

Robbery: Three teen-age boys at a rap concert Saturday night at the Baltimore Arena were in Section 226 when they were robbed by a man with a sawed-off shotgun. Later a 22-year-old man in Section 209 was robbed of jewelry valued at more than $2,000. The same person is suspected in both robberies.

Theft: A man entered a Marianne clothing store in the 300 block of W. Lexington St. on Saturday and stole four sweaters valued at $139.

Theft: Someone entered a 1993 Cadillac parked in the 100 block of N. Eutaw St. on Saturday and stole a phone valued at $700.

Northeastern District

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 3100 block of Ravenwood Ave. on Saturday and stole 11 pit bull puppies, a television and a VCR, all valued at more than $2,600.

Burglary: Someone used a key to enter an apartment in the 2900 block of Clearview Ave. on Saturday and stole $100 from a cigar box in the bedroom.

Burglary: A self-propelled lawn mower valued at $500 was stolen from a shed in the 3400 block of Erdman Ave. on Saturday.

Burglary: Tools valued at $600 were stolen Saturday from a garage in the 4000 block of Woodlea Ave. by someone who entered through a window.

Theft: A man entered Ham's Liquors in the 4900 block of Belair Road on Saturday and stole nearly $300 worth of Instant Lottery tickets from the counter.

Burglary: Tools and a VCR, all valued at more than $600, were stolen from a house in the 1700 block of E. 30th St. on Saturday by someone who entered through a basement door.

Northern District

Robbery: A resident of the 4500 block of N. Charles St. was at an ATM in the 5300 block of York Road on Saturday night when a gunman robbed him of his wallet and $60.

Stolen car: A 1987 Mazda with tags RLW 158 was stolen Saturday from the 5700 block of Cross Country Blvd.

Robbery: A gunman robbed Kim's Mugs & Gifts in the 3300 block of Greenmount Ave. of more than $100 Saturday.

Robbery: A resident of the 2400 block of N. Calvert St. was in the 2200 block of N. Calvert St. on Saturday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of cash and property, all valued at $80.

Stolen car: A 1986 Chevrolet van with tags 34CO84 was stolen Saturday from the 2300 block of N. Howard St.

Robbery: A resident of the 1000 block of Weldon Ave. was in the 3600 block of Roland Ave. on Saturday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $150.

Burglary: Someone entered a garage in the 4900 block of Roland Ave. over the weekend and stole three power blowers, a hedge trimmer, 40-foot ladder, a saw, planer and other power tools, all valued at more than $3,000.

Stolen car: A 1991 Subaru with tags VFE 603 was stolen during the weekend from the 1000 block of Upnor Road.

Stolen car: A 1990 Acura with tags BHR 076 was stolen Saturday from the 600 block of Cedarcroft Road.

Burglary: Someone entered the Roland Park Bakery & Deli in the 4900 block of Roland Ave. on Saturday and stole a large quantity of food of unknown value.

Robbery: A resident of the 4800 block of Roland Ave. was walking near her home Saturday when she was shoved aside by a man who stole her purse containing $3.

Theft: Someone entered a 1994 Oldsmobile parked in the 1000 block of Deer Ridge Drive over the weekend and stole cassettes valued at $20.

Robbery: A gunman robbed Chung Mee's carryout in the 5600 block of The Alameda of more than $100 Saturday. During the robbery, the man pointed the weapon at a female employee and threatened to shoot her. The woman was not injured.

Northwestern District

Carjacking: A female motorist was in the 3300 block of W. Forest Park Ave. on Saturday when two men forced her out of her 1989 Toyota Camry and drove off. When the car was found in the 3500 block of Powhatan Ave., the woman's purse containing cash and property was gone.

Robbery: A man was in the 4000 block of Belvieu Ave. on Saturday when he was robbed of more than $100 by a man who asked him what time it was.

North Point Precinct

Robbery: A 49-year-old Dundalk man was in the first block of Center Place yesterday afternoon when he was assaulted by three youths who robbed him of $20.

Parkville Precinct

Vandalism: Police were seeking the person who used an unknown sharp object to scratch at least 15 vehicles parked in the first block of Hoban Court Saturday night or yesterday morning.
