November 17, 1995

Police arrested a Linthicum woman Tuesday and charged her RTC with shoplifting a $55 Braun electric toothbrush from the Montgomery Ward store in Glen Burnie, county police said.

Security officer Tom Liska told police a woman walked into the store in the 6700 block of Ritchie Highway shortly before 8:30 p.m. and put an electric toothbrush from the store display inside her jacket.

Police said the woman left the store without paying for the toothbrush, and Mr. Liska detained her.

Elizabeth Joanne Stafford, 19, of the 200 block of Hampton Road was charged with theft. She was released Wednesday on her own recognizance.
