Weather postpones volleyball playoffs

Inclement weather forced the postponement of two of yesterday's state semifinal volleyball games involving metro area teams.

The Class 2A state semifinal matchup between Catonsville and South Hagerstown will take place at 7 tonight at Catonsville High. The 3A semifinal between Fallston and Thomas Johnson was moved to 7:30 tonight at LaPlata.

If Catonsville wins tonight, the Comets will play Glenelg at noon Saturday for the 2A state championship at Catonsville Community College.

If Fallston gets past Thomas Johnson, the Cougars will play Mount Hebron for the state title at 5 p.m. Saturday at Catonsville CC.
