Millersville housing proposal to be reviewed

November 15, 1995|By Edward Lee | Edward Lee,SUN STAFF

County planners today will review a Severna Park man's proposal to build nine single-family homes off West Pasadena Road in Millersville.

George E. Etzel, who owns the land with Martin Z. Vogelhut, said he hopes to develop the 10 acres of pine woods on the north side of the road, just west of Jumpers Hole Road. The lots would average 44,500 square feet and cost about $225,000, he said.

The public hearing on the plan will be at 9 a.m. at the county Department of Planning and Code Enforcement in the Heritage Center on Riva Road in Annapolis.

Mr. Etzel said the land is ideal for a community.

"You don't leave it as woods," he said. "You build something nice. Everything we're doing will look nice."
