North Harford (11-3-1) won its first regional title, beating visiting Joppatowne, 1-0, in the Class 1A-2A East regional final.

Amy Scotten was credited with the only score after a head ball by a Joppatowne player inadvertently sailed over the head of keeper Tara Southerington and into the unprotected goal with six minutes left in the half.

Joppatowne finishes at 8-7.
